My name is Todd Ehlers. Glad to meet you!

I operate an amateur radio station (callsign AI5ZI) from my home in the countryside near the small town of Riesel, Texas. My top interest in ham radio is CW operation. I enjoy contesting, DX hunting, and POTA.

I try to focus on enjoying my existence as a Homo sapiens on Earth. I enjoy viewing the night sky with the naked eye in the dark sky regions of Texas. I find great fulfillment engaging with the physical world. Outside of my radio hobby, my time is filled by increasing soil organic matter, producing beef, tending to Apis mellifera, and managing rangeland for the benefit of wildlife. I enjoy number crunching and scratch that itch by analyzing real estate investment opportunities and researching financial markets. I read books and I own a dog.

But... above all of that, my attention and life's focus is on my wonderful partner in life, Katherine, and our two beautiful children. How I became so fortunate to know and enjoy their presence is beyond my comprehension.
